Château Puybarbe is situated at the highest elevation of the Côtes de Bourg appellation overlooking the right bank of the Gironde estuary.
The 41-hectare vineyard comprises predominantly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and is farmed according to sustainable philosophies.
Château Puybarbe uses no herbicides or chemical fertilisers and is both HVE (High Environmental Value) and ISO 14001 certified since 2017.
This is the winery’s first medium-bodied wine, aged 10 to 12 months in oak barrels.
70% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec.
