Marrone retain a history of tradition with an eye always turned to the future.

The vineyards are in Madonna di Como, Alba with a south eastern aspect at an altitude of 380 metres.

Clay, present in greater quantities than silt and sand and associated with a high quantity of calcium carbonate allows the Nebbiolo to grow and complete its vegetative cycle without water stress and limited vegetative vigour.

This type of soil gives the wine longevity, freshness, elegance and a great character.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

Ruby red colour with an orange rim.

The nose offers some wood, dry spices, red fruit, cherry liqueur and tar.

The palate is fairly dense, with a youthful texture, a tannic bite, good grip and length, deserving another few years of ageing.
