Minoki is the world’s first Japanese coral filtered rum, inspired by ancient Japanese legends. The first ruler of Japan was said to be descended from an ocean princess-dragon. This princess was named Minoki who lived in a palace of corals. Displaying the purest essence of Japan’s oceanic heritage, this rum is sure to impress anyone interested in innovative production methods which blend tradition and modernity. Minoki Rum is also the first Mizunara Japanese oak cask-finished rum brand in the world.

Minoki Coral Filtered Rum is a blend of the finest Japanese and Pacific rums, finished in Mizunara casks. It then undergoes filtering through washed ashore and bleached Japanese corals to create a perfectly smooth blend. The producers of Minoki rum donate a portion of the profits from each sale to the protection and restoration of coral reefs not only off the coast of Japan but throughout the Pacific.
The tasting profile reveals a vanilla-forward flavour with hints of Japanese tropical fruits on the nose and palate. It displays subtle spiced vanilla in the finish, as well as woody and chocolate notes. It’s a wonderful sipping rum with a delicate mouthfeel but also shines on the rocks and in simple rum-forward cocktails.
