Four friends – Elisabetta, Antonio, Luca, and Fabio – run La Quercia’s vineyard and estate. They met each other while working at a big winery in the late 80s.

At that time, Elisabetta had just started her career in the administration department, Antonio specialised in oenology, Luca was the Sales Manager, and Fabio worked as a cellar man.

In 2000, the quartet came together and acquired a small winery where they had previously served as consultants.

La Quercia, the small winery they acquired, stretches across 12 hectares of vineyards and three hectares of olive tree groves.

Their focus is on producing quality and healthy products through environmental sustainability, organic farming, and low-intervention winemaking to capture a sense of place from farm to bottle.

Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC LA QUERCIA is a well-structured red wine with pleasant aromas of fruit such as plums, berries and cherries, produced with grapes harvested in the middle of the hills, in vineyards located in an area very suitable for the production of Montepulciano grapes between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso.
