Muyu Vetiver Gris is a modern liqueur, created with natural ingredients inspired by the Amazon. Muyu uses responsibly sourced ingredients and environmentally friendly techniques, and part of their profits go to NGOs which preserve the biodiversity of the Amazon region.
Each liquid begins with the precious extraction of a single note, after which the secondary sequences of extraordinary ingredients are wrapped around each note. This creates a completely developed and complex liquid.
Muyu brings extraordinary ingredients to modern bartenders, for use in cocktails, mixed drinks or on the rocks.
They use a number of different techniques and methods to extract flavour and collaborate with leading experts to help source, concentrate and capture aromatic substances of plants, flowers and fruits. These intermediate elaborations are then blended with alcohol, sugar and water to create the final liquid.
This composition created by Alex Kratena is based on the alchemy of wood.
Grapefruit notes and mint freshen the earthy, leathery base. Then comes the vivacity of Timur, Patchouli and freshness of Petit Grains dominated by Cedar. Earthy, woody, and mystical.
Enjoy Muyu Vetiver Gris in cocktails. It particularly shines in a highball with grapefruit soda, or when paired with the Caribbean soft drink Ting.
