The Comte de Ladoucette has a reputation for producing some of the finest wines from the Loire. Pouilly Fumé ‘Baron de L’ de Ladoucette is made only in near-perfect vintages. It uses free-run juice from perfect grapes grown on the estate’s oldest vines.
The result is a wine of stunning purity and length on the palate that is also one of the most age-worthy expressions of Sauvignon Blanc we have ever come across. It’s rich, layered and citrusy with a delicate texture from occasional battonage whilst aging.
