Blanquette de Limoux is a fine French regional sparkling wine. To this day it must be made mostly of Mauzac – although some amounts of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay are permitted in the blend. It is a traditional method sparkling wine meaning that it develops bubbles in exactly the same way as the wines of Champagne. Indeed the biscuity and brioche notes that this imparts to the wine are present and flattering in this lively & unpretentious bottle of delicious fizz.
