Royal Brackla 21 Year Old is a bold and fruity Highland single malt whisky from one of Scotland’s oldest distillers. It was founded in 1812 and has consistently produced exemplary whisky ever since.
Royal Brackla was the first Scotch whisky ever granted a Royal Warrant, by King William IV in 1833. It stands proudly on the Cawdor Estate, a historic residence linked with Shakespeare’s Macbeth, and operates at a capacity of 4,000,000 litres a year. This latest expression demonstrates why the royal title is still deserved!
The 21 Year Old first matures in American oak. It’s then finished in a combination of the finest Oloroso, Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, resulting in a rich, opulent finish. All Royal Brackla’s whiskies complete their maturation in sherry oak, and this is a particularly complex example.
Enjoy Royal Brackla 21 Year Old neat or over ice for a fruity, warming dram. This is a meditative whisky which deserves to be savoured and appreciated. Perfect for sherry oak fans.
Syrupy toffee notes, with richly fragrant summer berries warmed by the sun and dusted in cinnamon and muscovado sugar. Layers of dried fruit and rich, sweet spices on the palate. Long, smooth finish.
