The Balvenie 14-Year-Old The Week of Peat is a distinctive single malt whisky with a rich, smoky character. For one week each year, The Balvenie distillery uses Highland peat to create this special release. Unlike Islay peat, Highland peat imparts a gentler, earthier smoke with delicate floral notes.
This whisky matures for 14 years in American oak casks, developing a beautifully balanced complexity. Sweet honey and vanilla contrast with warm, aromatic peat smoke. Hints of citrus, oak spice, and creamy toffee round out the flavour profile.
