Trois Rivières Blanc 50% is a traditional rhum Agricole produced by the Trois Rivières Distillery in Martinique, perfect for mixed drinks and cocktails.
Trois Rivières are a famous producer of rhum agricole. This style of rum utilises the juice of the sugar cane instead of molasses. It is an intensely aromatic rum that will add weight and pungency to a wide variety of rum cocktails. It also contributes a delightfully subtle and herbal sweetness.
This rhum has a clean, grassy character. Herbal aromas of cardamom, candied flowers and green peppercorns are balanced by lime, juniper and orange. The palate offers notes of freshly-cut-grass, juniper berries, mint, jasmine and sweet herbs, that build into a lingering finish of cedar and liquorice.
The rhums of Martinique are among the best in the world. Since 1996 they have been awarded the prestigious French “appellation d’origine contrôlée”, a designation previously reserved only for France’s finest cheese and wines. Trois Rivières is truly a jewel of agricole rhums.
