Gonzalez Byass age Fino sherries until their yeast layer dies off naturally. Once this happens, they begin the oxidative ageing process and select the finest wines for the Del Duque solera.
These wines then start their transformation into exceptional wine. The youngest wines in any bottle of Del Duque are at least 30 years old at bottling, and some may include traces from as far back as 1835, when we first established the solera.
This wine boasts extraordinary complexity, with aged bakery notes like dry brioche, and hints of cocoa, cedar, spices, leather, polish, and smoke.
It is also one of the driest wines in the world.
