Château la Bienveillance Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge is a luxurious and concentrated red wine made in Bordeaux.
This 8 hectare estate, certified Organic, has obtained Demeter Biodynamic certification.
The vineyard is located in Sainte Radegonde, 50km to the east of Bordeaux and stands on a unique terroir of a limestone plateau facing Saint-Emilion. Half of this area is planted with young vines and the other half with very old vines.
This wine contains 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc.
Winemakers began cultivating the vineyards using biodynamic methods since the 2016 vintage. They harvest each plot separately. Fermentation done in small stainless steel vats, using only natural yeasts, is continued for a short vatting of 6 to 10 months to protect the quality of the fruit and bestow it with well-balanced structure.
It has a very beautiful dense ruby colour, dark in depth and purple on the surface. It then displays a very intense and complex nose of candied red and black fruits. A touch that is both spicy and fresh appears when swirled. On the palate, the attack is frank and ample. The wine is fleshy, concentrated, with a good tannic structure. The tannins are both powerful and coated. The finish is fresh, long and very aromatic.
This is a wine that will gain in finesse after a few years.
