Aker English Rosé Aperitif is a deliciously subtle aperitif with a nose and palate of distinctively English botanicals, including the classic vermouth flavour of wormwood.
Created in collaboration with England’s leading wine producer, Chapel Down, and non-conformist spirits distiller, Capreolus Distillery, Aker champions and celebrates all the English countryside has to offer.
Aker prides itself on bringing out the true character of its finest English ingredients. They make English Rosé Aperitif crisp Pinot Noir rosé wine from one of Chapel Down’s finest vineyards in the heart of Kent. Then, they add wild fermented Eau-de-Vie made with raspberries fresh from the Cotswolds.
A delicate mix of blossoms, roots and spices including the classic aperitif ingredient wormwood are added to enhance the character of the Pinot Noir wine. Distilled Chapel Down Chardonnay grape skins then join the mix, creating wonderfully creamy and aromatic vanilla tones. Think strawberries and cream flavours, as well as fresh herbs!
