Avignonesi Da•Di Bianco Toscana IGT is a beautifully fresh Italian white wine from a winery with a rich history. It is a blend of native white grape varieties including Orpicchio, Grechetto, Trebbiano, Vermentino and Malvasia.
Avignonesi is produced at Le Capezzine winery, an historic estate where winemaking mastery, love for nature, the community of Montepulciano, and consumers meet. Founded in 1974, its current owner is Virginie Saverys.
This wine is made using four different vinification techniques, with some grapes undergoing whole-cluster pressing and others experiencing carbonic maceration to ensure a seamlessly integrated fruit flavour profile. It then ages on its fine lees.
Enjoy Avignonesi Da•Di Bianco Toscana IGT with pasta dishes or lean fish. It also shines chilled as an aperitif in summer.
Producer’s Tasting Notes
Intense golden yellow colour with green hues. On the nose, it is fresh and elegant with notes of white peach and green apple, pineapple as well as delicate hints of lemon. On the palate, the entire mouth experiences a marked freshness that accompanies the entire tasting experience. The body is voluminous and structured, accompanied by a silky texture that caress the palate. Citrus notes of grapefruit and fresh elderflower emerge. The finish is then savoury and persistent, worthy of a great ageing wine.
