Château Fleur de Lisse 2020 is a beautifully rich Bordeaux from a beautiful Grand Cru estate in Saint-Emilion.
The 2020 vintage was characterized by a warm weather all year long and contrasting rainfalls: very humid autumn and spring, but exceptionally dry summer. An early vintage of great quality.
A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc (Bordeaux’s oldest varietal), this wine fermented in stainless steel vats with native yeasts at 28-30°C, then aged for 18 months in casks, barrels (16% new oak) and amphoras.
Enjoy Château Fleur de Lisse 2020 with roast meats or a fine charcuterie board.
Producer’s Tasting Notes
The wine is known for its complexity. On the nose, it reveals primary aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry with subtle notes of hazelnut and chocolate. In the mouth, the velvety tannins leave an elegant creamy impression. The finish is fruity, long-lasting and delicious. A dazzling wine!
