The 2020 vintage blends 45 % Garnacha, 29 % Carinyena, 16 % Syrah and 10 % Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vines grow on steep terraces at 350 metres, rooted in slate soils that intensify flavour and minerality.
The team harvests by hand to protect delicate fruit and ensure optimal ripeness.
They ferment using indigenous yeasts, allowing the grapes’ natural character to guide the process.
Winemakers include 30 % whole bunches to enhance aromatic lift and structural complexity.
They mature the wine for 18–21 months in French oak foudres and 300-litre barrels.
You first notice the deep garnet-purple hue glowing in the glass.
Aromas rise with black cherry, ripe plum, blueberry and a hint of blood orange.
Fragrant Mediterranean herbs weave with sandalwood, cigar box spice and fresh-baked bread notes.
The nose shows mineral tones from the llicorella slate that underpins the vineyards.
