The Cormerais family has been cultivating vines for as long as anyone can remember.
They have been passing down their passion for winemaking and grape growing through generations since the 1800s.
Today, Bertrand runs the business, having joined his father Joel in 1994.
His philosophy is simple: he starts in the vineyard, paying great attention to detail to produce the best grapes possible while maintaining deep respect for the environment.
The estates’ old vines produce Domaine de la Bretonnière Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie ‘Cuvée Prestige,’ showcasing Muscadet at its best.
They craft it with Melon de Bourgogne grapes, harvested at peak ripeness to prevent oxidation.
Fermentation occurs in concrete and buried tanks using selected yeasts for their neutral taste.
