Pierrick Bouley, the sixth generation of the Bouley family to run the estate originally known as R & P Bouley, began working on the estate full-time in 2009.
He took over from his parents in 2014. Most of the vines on the property are over 50 years old on average.
Pierrick is gradually changing how he works his vines, adopting a more organic and natural approach inspired by biodynamic principles. The estate has now converted to organic farming, with the 2023 vintage being the first to receive certification.
Domaine Pierrick Bouley Volnay displays aromas of raspberry and violets, with a palate that is always soft, elegant and fruity.
