Tasting Notes
In the glass, Highgate Organic Shiraz reveals a deep ruby red colour with subtle purple hints, reflecting its youthful vibrancy. The wine’s clarity and intensity speak to its careful production, underscoring its exceptional quality.
The bouquet is a delightful mix of bold aromas. Ripe blackberries and dark cherries dominate, complemented by spiced plum, black pepper, and a touch of liquorice. Subtle notes of vanilla, cedar, and earthy nuances emerge from the gentle oak ageing, adding depth and complexity.
The Highgate Organic Shiraz delivers a full-bodied experience on the palate, with a velvety texture and well-integrated tannins. Juicy dark fruits, including blackcurrants, blueberries, and black plums, burst forward, while spicy hints of cracked black pepper and cloves balance the flavours, creating a harmonious, layered tasting experience.
