Idun Crépuscule Pinot Noir

Elgin is the coolest wine region in South Africa.

This cool climate allows for the perfect ripening of grapes, creating wines that have freshness, flavour and balance.

Crépuscule means twilight and is the delicate example of these unique characters.

The Crépuscule Pinot Noir is made from a single vineyard situated 300 metres above sea level and caressed by the cooling sea breezes from the Atlantic a few kilometres away.

Rainwater is retained in the iron-rich clay and cobble soils which results in low yield and flavour concentration.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

Very light ruby with a brick-red rim.

Cola tonic and raspberry nose.

Red fruits on a very light palate.

Delicate and integrated.

Drinks beautifully now and will further improve with cellaring
