Founded in 1897 in the heart of Argentina’s most famous wine region, Mendoza, Bodega Lagarde is not only one of Argentina’s oldest wineries, but steward to some of its oldest vineyards. It was acquired by the Pescarmona family in 1897, and today is run by third-generation sisters Sofía and Lucila, with a focus on making premium Argentinian wines which speak to their grapes and terroirs – but in the most sustainable way possible.
