Lionel Osmin & Cie produces the distinctive Lionel Osmin Tannat Sans Soufre in the Southwest of France. The region shares a border with the Pyrenees, the natural border with Spain, to the south, and to the east by the Garonne. To the north is the mild and windy Massif Central, and to the west the Atlantic Ocean.
This red wine features 100% Tannat grapes and stands out because it is crafted without adding sulphur dioxide (sans soufre).
The Tannat grape enjoys a reputation for its deep colour, robust tannins, and structure. This contributes to wines with intense flavours and significant ageing potential.
This wine showcases the pure expression of the Tannat grape, delivering rich, dark fruit aromas, earthy undertones, and a bold yet balanced palate. It’s high in tannin and powerfully structured. The finish is long with generous complexity.
