Marco Abella Loidana is a deliciously fruity red wine from Spain’s beautiful Priorat region, made with delicacy and care.
The Marco Abella family has made wines in the Priorat region since the 15th century. Records show their presence in Porrera during that time, as documented in Catalonia’s first census in 1497.
Made using a blend of Garnacha and Carinena with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon for structure, this wine expresses the essence of its homeland.
The grapes from the different plots are fermented separately depending on the varieties, soil type, orientation and altitude. The fermentations are completed in concrete tanks, which provides the wine with a concentration of freshness and fruit.
It then aged in French oak barrels for 8-10 months.

Producer’s Tasting Notes
Aromas of red and black fruits with hints of flowers, cedar and spices. Smooth and velvety in the mouth, it remains harmonious until the finish. Very fresh. Easy to drink, abundant tannins and a vibrant finish entice you to have another glass.
