This wine is named after the founder of Curicó – in the cradle of Chile’s wine country. It is made with the best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes on the Torres family’s Chilean estates. The wine spends 18 months ageing in French oak from Nevers (70% new barrels). It shows ripe black fruits and chocolate on the nose along with some liquorice, toast, clove, and the hallmark leafy characteristics of Cabernet grapes. It is an intense wine suitable for enjoying with red meat dishes. This wine will also continue to improve for at least a decade in the cellar.
