Nomad Outland Whisky is a collaborative blended whisky, made in the Speyside region of Scotland and aged there in Bourbon barrels, but finished in Spain using Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
Its varied aging profile means it cannot be called either a Scottish or a Spanish whisky. Instead, it is a “nomad” which belongs to many traditions.
Enjoy Nomad Outland Whisky neat, on the rocks or in a classic whisky-forward cocktail.
Producer’s Tasting Nots
Colour: Topaz-coloured with very bright reflections.
Nose: It has a very personable aroma, with notes of malt and hints of wood and sherry.
Palate: Smooth and elegant. The sensations of raisins, honey and an unmistakable bouquet stand out, due to its aging in sherry casks that contained old Pedro Ximénez.
Finish: Long and pleasant with notes of vanilla and dried fruit. A very elegant whisky.
