Nuits-Saint-Georges, the village that gave its name to the Côte de Nuits wine region, focuses almost entirely on producing red wines.
The Nuits-Saint-Georges “village” appellation covers 163.5 hectares in the village of Nuits and 11.8 hectares in Prémeaux-Prissey.
The differences in sunlight exposure and soil types between the vineyards, located both north and south of Nuits-Saint-Georges, result in a wide variety of wines.
Scents of red and black fruit that will evolve over time toward notes of forest undergrowth, mushroom and tobacco.
On the palate, this fleshy, robust wine is perfectly balanced by its imposing yet elegant structure.
The finish is long and intensely fragrant, evocative of red fruit and spicy notes.
