It is crafted by the Cantine Europa cooperative under the Sibiliana label. One of largest wineries in Sicily, Sibiliana Vini uses the latest in modern winemaking technology to produce this range of wines from indigenous Sicilian grapes. These wines are a true reflection of the warm, sunny climate of western Sicily, where the grapes flourish in mineral-rich, well-drained soils. They embody both the tradition of Sicilian winemaking and the commitment to sustainable, organic agriculture.
This case features:
This straw-yellow wine is fresh and friendly. On the palate it is balanced, savoury and fruity at the same time. It has bright and juicy green apple, white peach and honeydew melon aromas and persistent floral mingle with ginger spice and lovely fresh acidity, both on the nose and the palace. The aromas carry through each sip with elegance and persistence. The finish surprises with a tang of grapefruit.
On the nose, This ruby red wine offers a rich aroma of ripe red fruits, particularly cherries and plums. There are also hints of Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and thyme. There are also subtle spicy notes, with traces of black pepper and liquorice adding complexity. On the palate, Sibiliana Sensale Bio Nero d’Avola is medium- to full-bodied, with smooth, well-integrated tannins. Its flavours are dominated by juicy red fruits like blackberries and raspberries, balanced by an earthy undertone that reflects its Sicilian roots. The wine’s natural acidity brings freshness, making it an ideal match for food.
