Tiko Estate Orange Kisi is a vibrant orange qvevri wine hailing from the Kakheti region of Georgia.

Crafted in the traditional Georgian style by brothers Levan and Georgi Chychynadze in the wine region of Kakheti, this wine showcases the essence of the indigenous white Kisi grapes.

Orange wines are wines produced with white grapes, but vinified like red wines, with maceration (lasting from a few days to several months) of the must in contact with the skins and yeasts. This makes the wines very different from both whites and reds from a visual, olfactory and tactile point of view. This particular wine undergoes a meticulous process of ageing with the grape skins in qvevris (amphorae, or traditional clay pots) for six months following fermentation with partial whole-bunch fruits to maintain the freshness. This results in a concentrated, complex, and aromatic profile.

Expect to savour delightful notes of dried apricots and ripe peaches. Its pronounced tannic structure harmoniously intertwines with lively acidity, culminating in a lingering honeyed finish. It boasts superb concentration, complexity, amplified aromatics, and depth of flavour

Enjoy Tiko Estate Orange Kisi paired with spicy dishes, seafood such as shellfish and salmon, or perhaps aged hard cheeses.
