Warre Vintage Port 2011 is truly an outstanding wine from the oldest of the British-owned port houses. 2011 was a vintage characterised by ripeness, structure and tannin, despite difficult weather conditions. This port is testament to its power.
Some reviewers stressed how drinkable Warre 2011 was on release – while others stated that it would be best between 2030 and 2060. This is partly a question of personal preference. We add only that the decisions to drink or to keep will both be rewarded.
Warre Vintage Port 2011 displays fine blackberry fruit, elegance, minerality and a smooth, chocolatey finish. Perfect with cheese or rich cocoa-based desserts.
