Domaine de la Madone La Vinif à Papa Beaujolais Villages AOC is a beautifully bright and fruity red wine which shines when served chilled.
The Domaine de la Madone is located on the slopes of the Madone hill in Fleurie. This estate has been the property of the Despres family for 6 generations. Their commitment to quality and tradition shines through in every bottle, and La Vinif a Papa is no exception.
The Madone hill is often considered by connoisseurs to be the best of local climates. It enjoys exceptional sunshine. Its soil consists of pink granite perfect for the Gamay grape variety.
These grapes were hand-harvested then fermented full-cluster (carbonic maceration) on indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Following this, the wine aged on fine lees for a subtle brioche flavour.
Enjoy Domaine de la Madone La Vinif à Papa Beaujolais Villages AOC with a classic French baguette with pâté or a lentil stew.
Aromas of ripe summer fruits, black and red cherries, blackberries. Rich and round, juicy; soft tannins, then a light finish. A lovely smoothness that makes it incredibly easy to drink. Serve it slightly cool to bring out its bright fruit character and delicate freshness.
