Portia Roble DO Ribera del Duero is a fruity, floral red wine from one of Spain’s finest regions, Ribera del Duero.
Bodegas Portia is one of the most iconic wineries in Ribera del Duero, a perfect link between winemaking and architecture, a strategic union that provides the ideal place to create unique and different wines, where they work with a balanced technical and artistic flair. Its facilities were designed by award winning architect Norman Foster and attract many visitors year after year. It is one of the most visited vineyards in the region.
Once at the winery, the grapes for Portia Roble ferment in controlled conditions at a temperature of 26ºC. This 100% Tempranillo wine is then matured in oak barrels for a minimum of 3 months.
Enjoy Portia Roble DO Ribera del Duero with grilled or fried potatoes, mushrooms or ham. It also shines alongside some tasty or oily fish such as tuna or cod, traditional in Spain.
Lively violet-red colour with purple hues. Intense aromas of red fruits with a floral touch and spicy notes. Marked toasted aromas, due to the barrel ageing. Balanced and complex on the palate, then with a long lasting finish.
