Albert Bichot ‘Secret de Famille’ Bourgogne Côte d’Or Pinot Noir is a ripe, fruity and eminently drinkable red Burgundy from one of France’s most renowned wine regions.
In the heart of winegrowing Burgundy lies the Côte d’Or, where the region’s most prestigious wines are produced. To highlight these exceptional terroirs, wine laws established the additional geographical denomination “Côte d’Or” in 2017.
Bourgogne Côte d’Or wines adhere to stricter production regulations compared to Bourgogne wines. They have lower yields and vineyards exclusively located in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, maintaining the same planting density as village wines.
Bichot’s “Secret de Famille” is meticulously crafted from a blend of grapes sourced from carefully selected plots in celebrated Côte de Nuits villages. These include Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and Marsannay, renowned for their exceptional red wines. Rich terroirs, combined with meticulous vinification and ageing, yield an elegant, harmonious wine of unparalleled quality.
