Bel-Air Mâcon-Villages is a delightfully classic white Burgundy with a rich palate of citrus and tropical fruits.
The Vignerons de Bel Air is a cooperative winery established in 1929. It brings together over 310 winegrowers in the Mâcon region. This collaboration ensures both innovation and a commitment to sustainability in the region, safeguarding this exceptional terroir for winemakers of the future.
The 100% Chardonnay grapes used in the production of this wine were sourced from the commune of Chaintré. This offering from a cooperative winery showcases the charm and typicity of the Mâcon-Villages appellation, a region renowned for its crisp, unoaked Chardonnay wines.
The vinification was ‘traditional Burgundian’, between 6 to 9 days with temperature control in order to preserve most of the aromas.
Floral and fruity aromas of lemon, lychee, grapefruit and pineapple. Delicate floral notes of hawthorn and acacia blossom mingle with the fresh fruit for a complex combination.
A beautifully round and rich palate. Well structured and soft acidity. The finish is clean and crisp, leaving a lingering sensation of citrus and minerality that invites another sip.
