Portia Crianza DO Ribera del Duero is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero region produced by the Portia winery. This wine is produced using only Tempranillo grapes.
Bodegas Portia is one of the most iconic wineries in Ribera del Duero, a perfect link between winemaking and architecture, a strategic union that provides the ideal place to create unique and different wines, where they work with a balanced technical and artistic flair.
Made from the noble Tempranillo grape, this wine embodies the soul of the renowned wine region Ribera del Duero. The plots for this wine lie at around 820 metres above sea level with a yield of around 5,000 kilos per hectare. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here winemakers sort and then carefully crush them.
This wine has spent a minimum 12 months in oak barrels, followed by a further 6 months refinement in the bottle.
Enjoy Portia Crianza DO Ribera del Duero with sautéed veal liver, grilled wild mushrooms or rice dishes.
Clean, bright, intense cherry red colour with purple rim. Strong and sweet bouquet. Ripe berries aromas. Vanilla and slightly toasted hints. Full bodied wine, elegant but grippy tannins, and good acidity. Then, a long finish, sweet and toasted.
